Following the completion of our simple mortgage enquiry form, your enquiry will be electronically allocated to an independent mortgage adviser who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority or is an appointed representative of an authorised firm. It is important to us at 1mortgagesUK.co.uk that you are happy with the service offered to you, and we would hope that you will return to use our service and refer friends and family to our web sites in the future.

Once you have completed the application form you will be advised the names of a selected range of mortgage advisers to whom your form will be sent. If you are happy to continue then just click on the submit button. On allocation of your enquiry to your adviser, you will be advised of the firm to whom your application was sent, and provide you with their contact details.

Your allocated adviser will work for you. Your adviser will contact you but if you wish to make earlier contact then you are free to do so using the contact details provided. So please do not hesitate to contact your adviser at any time!

It is important that you work with your adviser to ensure that he or she is aware of your needs and circumstances, and can find the most appropriate mortgage deal available to you on the UK market they use.

Clients have told us that they like to remain in control (and not feel pressured) and that their preferred methods of contact are both phone and e-mail . It may be possible to send an adviser out to see you in person at your request, but we find that most clients prefer to work remotely.

Once your adviser has obtained sufficient information about your needs and circumstances, they will be able to source the market for you, identify the most appropriate deal for you, and then send a Key Facts Illustration to you. The key features of the selected mortgage product will be explained to you and any questions you may have will be answered in plain English.

If you decide to proceed with the mortgage application then the mortgage brokers to whom we refer you may charge a fee. They will advise you about the level of their fees/charges before you commit yourself but we would estimate that the fee could be up to 1% of the loan amount. Mortgage brokers have the option of working on a fee basis or a commission basis and you can discuss your preferences with them.
